How many people look back on a time in their lives, just to feel regret for not having the courage to follow a certain road? For most of us, our to do list is filled with dreams we have that we either “don’t have the time to pursue” or “don’t have the courage to even start”. We’re so busy playing catch-up with life’s daily, ever increasing demands that we shelf our own needs and dreams, until some tragedy strikes and we are somehow confronted with our own mortality. But how our lives could transform if we could JUST START! That’s magic right there waiting to take flight with your dreams, and that’s all it really takes to avoid living a life of regret.

There’s something about taking that first step with resolve that aligns the forces of the universe on your course. Of course this doesn’t mean the journey will be easy, or that it will go just as you envisioned it. But so what if it doesn’t? Whatever the result of taking that first step and staying your course, can be nothing but a success. You may even discover and fulfill new passions along the way, change lives or make history. This, is what it truly means to live a fulfilled life!

Ironically, the regret and frustration we eventually experience from not having “started” those dreams we have is greater than any pain we feel now from actually doing the work. So if we can overcome the hurdle of “just starting”, we would find ourselves taken over by the need to get to the end. Just like everything has an end, our time here is also limited so try to control whatever you can, let go of unnecessary responsibilities, live in the present and avoid procrastinating.

Take that first step and experience the magic of “just starting” on your dreams.
